today, i went for my npcc gathering. at the swimming pool (in RI of course). lol.at first i thought it would be a dumb swim where we just keep on swimming laps for like... 4 hours. but it turned out better than i thought.
first, we changed and jumped into the pool. SPLASH! we were divided into groups of equal pro-ness and had a few minutes to have a water fight. lol. we splashed other teams well. then we had a game of 'dog and bone'. Everyone in each team was numbered. Our seniors threw a swimming cap into the water and called a number. the person from each team called had to swim to get the cap and get swim back to their 'home' to score a point. i scored for all my tries. yay. after that, we played water caterpillar race. difficult to explain the rules, but it was fun. my team won all the rounds. lol.
then the fun part came. water polo (although it was more of a water captains ball). my team was short of a player cause one of my teammates wasnt feeling well and had to rest. but... we still won all of the matches!!! MUAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! TOTAL OWNAGE!!! (being totally evil)
actually i think it was because of my teammates. they all hav special areas.
first guy: very strong arms and legs.
eg. he threw the ball straight into the opponents goal from our goal post)
second guy: very good and confusing tactics (to the opponents).
eg. he scored 95% of his shots by confusing the goal keeper
third guy: very wise and fast
eg. always see him at strategic places which are crucial for scoring. attacks most of the time.
fourth guy: defense pro
eg. always see him in front of pple scoring to block
fifth guy: almost the same as the third guy. but plays more denfesively.
after all the games, our seniors allowed us to do watever we wanted for like... 15 mins. then we went to wash up.
to end off everything, we bought a cake from my bro (jacks' place) to celebrate some pple's birthdays. it was a black forest cake. i went home with my friends after that.
simply fun. hope they will organise smthg like that instead of normal trainings which can be really sickening sometimes.
Jim Tan signs off.
