hey everybody! im back from malaysia! we spent four freakin fun (haha, im better than someone in alliteration, no offence) days with our batch mates in this montage.i dont think i can tell u about the whole four days of this trip because it will take... very long. maybe i shall tell u with many thousand words. because pictures do so. lol.

Random pic in the bus which i travelled on, for the whole trip.

My roommates: the psychologist and the psycho (there's still one more)

A pic of us trekking

The view from my hotel room window

Groupmates fighting for sugarcane (lol)

Us watching an exciting game in which we control remote controlled cars with darts and balloons on them and, u know the rest...

A pic of Mush as a groom at a malay 'wedding' at a village we visited for homestay (sry, Mush!)

Us trekking in an extremely tough trek.

The beginning of the treetop walk...

Look at the height! (and the bridge is shaky!)

Us at the chocolate house with manymanymany chocolates! (i bought some for my family and friends - but dun know how to pass it to some friends...)

A pic from the KL tower. I look down on all of u! MUAHAHA! jkjk.

A fountain at the bottom of the tower.

My friends at Putrajaya. Left - My other roommate, who is very friendly. Right - My bro's classmate, who is also my groupmate.

This pic is dedicated to Qiao Yu. Hope u hav a safe trip to Shanghai. Farewell! (the second person who is migrating from my class)

At the Batu caves (the cave was so BIG! with many stalagmites, stalagtites and rocks. lol)

I was looking through the pics in the camera... and found that there wasnt any pics of me except for this one. i guess i forgot to take pics of myself... i was also hesitating whether or not i should post this, cos it looks... nvm.
(actually i took a lot more pictures, but i cant possibly post them all)

anyway, i took loads of pictures and memories. made loads of friends and mistakes. had loads of successes and fun. (its amazing i was allowed to bring so much things across the immigration check. cos i thought my luggage would be overweight. i guess its because i left my money and my footsteps there. lol.) i thank my teachers, my guides, my friends for everything they did for me there! Thank you!

Yesterday was the RI open house! and i was there, with some other NP cadets, as a road marshalls. at first, i thought i had to direct cars or smthg, but it was actually to greet the guests, help and guide them to where they r supposed to go. we were situated near the entrances of the school (so there wasnt much shade). i dunno why, but i liked interacting with the guests. so... i did not take much breaks and... got sunburnt. (Xp) And the sunburn marks are funny becos of my uniform, like the V-shaped mark below my neck. many of my teammates kept slacking... a few were playing gameboy adv sp in the hall, many were walking around the school, and some were chatting and eating in the canteen. i think jeson was the only one who did duty with me for the whole 8 hours. thanks. although there are no obvious rewards, i think i hav got three. i contributed to the school, did my part for my cca and got a free lunch.
i was also trying to get the white raffles band, but failed. the bands are cool. i think it was unfair lor. the ushers got the raffles band + a free open house shirt... and they were under shelter the whole time. not like the NP cadets, who had been under the sun, trying our best to help the guests hav a good experience in our school. ok, maybe not all of us, but i think we should still get smthg small, like that band!!! ok, nvmnvmnvm. i shall stop thinking about it.
anyway, i recently had a NP parade, from which i collected two of my badges. but... there was a mistake in their administration, so i did not get my rank and a badge. i think i will only be getting them after the holidays... other badges of mine havent been sent to our school by the hq. =( and so... kenji kept suan-ing me, saying his rank is higher than me, has more badges... blar.
yesterday was also my grandma's birthday. so, my family and our relatives all went to a restaurant to celebrate. the food there was nice! after finishing the dishes, we took out the birthday cake. the candles were lit and we sang the birthday song! we then sliced the cake and filled our already filled tummy. my grandma might be old, but she is an active, kind and (very) friendly woman. i often look up to her for her attitude and character. i think she should win the what best senior citizen award or smthg.

today, i went to school early in the morning to participate in the special olympics flag day event. i collected my can, and took a bus to tampines (our collection area) with some NP friends. we then started going around to ask for donations. at first, i didnt really know how to ask, but after a while, i got used to it and could do it much better. i decided not to keep moving around and stay at one place, so that it is easier to collect donations. i situated myself somewhere near the tampines MRT station cos i thought many pple would surely go there. and i was right. i definately collected more money there than just wondering around. i dont know why, maybe because this is my first time, but i sorta liked collecting donations. so i didnt even get a break and stood there getting donations for nearly 4 hours. X) in the end, i collected more money than many other cadets. and my stickers hav ALL been given away! i returned to school at bout 12nn.
through this event i found that singapore is quite a warm and kind society afterall. many pple donated willingly and some even empathized with us having to work so hard for charity. and it was cute when some couples gav their young kids coins and told them to drop it into my can. ^^
(however, some pple saw us like "ghosts". they didnt want to get near us. some just ignored us. some even criticised us! but i guess u cant expect everyone to be kind and friendly, so nvm.)im really happy today, becos i did something to help the unfortunate. cos it has been long since i did so the last time.

Yesterday seemed to be a really bad day. but i soon found out that it wasnt as bad as i thought.

health booklet
i was supposed to bring my health booklet, but i forgot. X( i would hav gotten scolded by ms hanna, but she was in a real good mood,so she said i could bring it on the next day. hehe.

2.4km run
i had to run napfa 2.4km when my legs are painful. and very unluckily, under the scorching sun (which was so bright that i couldnt even see where i was running.) but my PE teacher said he couldnt control the weather, and we had to run no matter what. so we reluctantly ran. i paced with yuho who had amazing stamina (despite his size). he run with me all the way, until the last length of the track of the last lap. he said he was tired and let me go ahead. although i did, i was sad that he couldnt finish the run with me. so, i ended up first (currently, cos some pple havent ran yet) and yuho, second. my timing was about 10.3 mins so i got an A. yay!
Final score for NAPFA: 28 points, Gold. =D

Chinese compo test
after recess, we had our chinese compo test which i was so worried about. (i was mugging real hard during recess) but in the end the topic we got, was easy! and i could finish it without much difficulties. hope i get good marks anyway.

These are how the bad things took a turn to the good side. maybe i shouldnt worry too much in the future.

by the way, i have finished watching naruto and started naruto: shipuuden!

Last sunday, my family and i went to saomu. we met up with our relatives at my uncle's house and went to sao mu together. Everything was fine just that the smoke keeps getting into my eyes.
"Argh! i cant see!" - Carl (in the jimmy neutron movie when he accidently sprayed his own eyes with his inhaler. lol)
After that my famly decided to visit some farms. Although some of the farms were quite boring, it was a good experience as we hardly ever go to these places, especially with relatives. =)

On monday (no school, cos of our achievements), i met up with bennah at simei to do our science assignment. I was amazed that he actually got the materials ready! cos sometimes hes quite... slack. (sry, Xp) So, we completed our assignment quite easily, except for some minor parts. I also had lunch and dinner with him and his family. It was some great dinning experience! (we had a disscussion about lychees and longans at dinner, cos they hav similar flesh and i forgot how their skins look like.) although there was a lot of hard and tiring work, I had a really enjoyable day and i thank them very much.
