haha, and I thought I could post more during the June hols. xp

arg, lotsa things happened during the hols, which kept me really busy. more or less expected, but didnt really like how hectic it was.

Anyway, first day of school was better than I expected. haha, cos of the H1N1 going around, we get to go home early for this whole week. yesss. although somethings will definitely pop up in some afternoons, its good to know that we are officially supposed to get home early. xD

haha, spent the last night chionging geog greenwave, and we managed to finish it more or less. thanks, SF! was tired today morning, but looking at some of the hyper dudes in class made me more energetic. lol. was nice getting to chat and joke with guys in class. lessons went by quite fast, and I managed to beat fatigue and stay awake for all of them.

Lets check the list of things that is gonna make my first day (a list created to curb emo-ness yesterday) :
- Get to see friends! [YES]
- Get to see favourite teachers! (yay) [SORTA]
- Get to wear our super cool uniforms! [YES]
- Get to chat about our "wonderful" holidays! [YES]
- Dont have to stay at home rotting our butts off! [NOT REALLY]
- Get to take temperatures with classmates! (to appreciate how hot our friends actually are!) [YES]
- Get to eat canteen food which we miss so much! (pity no rj food though) [A LITTLE]
- Get to walk and climb a lot! (to get sexy leg muscles! xD) [YES]
- Get to learn! (yes, total passion for learning!) [YES]

Thank you Jack and Wan Jing for contributing to the "List of First Day of School Happy-ness of Mine"!
(this list actually made me feel better yesterday!) =D
(and the exclamation marks in the list were added so that the reader would feel enthusiastic!)

ok, so to conclude, the first day was good. I shouldnt have worried so much.

We're just another step closer to the Dec holidays!!!

(I might randomly post stuff on June hols events, maybe)

What the. I got double-burned. Cos of interclass basketball. Fine, im more fortunate than jack, who got triple-burned cos of camp. xp

Interclass bball was held over 2 days, with classes clashing on courts. This being a CECC organized event, all the reps had to attend. Haha, interclass bball was fun. You should see all those sick moves the bballers did. How I wish I can have skills like those lol. anyway, other than the basic running of events, I was assigned the role of a photographer and events recorder too. Ran around with cam, snapping and tiring my arms and legs out. Haha, saw wan jing’s yfc group there. Was quite surprised they know about our interclass bball, which I thought wasn’t that widely publicized. But it was ok. Have to thank them for putting in lotsa effort in selling drinks to our players and other rafflesians! Really really thanks a lot! Knew you’al had to bear with the hot sun and err many bad attitudes… =( Sry bout those! I know the business at ri wasn’t that good too, so… thanks for all the dedication, effort and time put in. Appreciate it lots.

So, I took about 40+ photos on the first day. I went back and thought it was too little. And… the next day, I went home with 160+. Wth. As I was going around helping out, I got some chances to shoot hoops. And yay, still had some of the bball feel in me, and could still shoot okay. But my ballhandling’s like some crap now. =( Haha pleasant afternoons, spent watching batchmates playing bball together.

Haha. Ryan, another council guy, refing the matches. Really good job done over the two days!

Also, on the first day of bball, I had to stay till the evening cos of ayg flagbearing. Got chosen by the tnf pple to attend. It wasn’t that bad haha, just that several tnf exco pple didn’t turn up when they should. So it was some ceremony held at our main atrium, where the deputy minister and chef de mission of yog handed the Singapore flag to team Singapore, with ting wen as the representative. There were performances and speeches and food. Lol free dinner x). Was glad to see so many national team sportsmen there, as they are the ones who are going to strive their hardest for our country, and bring glory to our nation… This reminds me of what the minister said, about sportsmen needing to develop positive attitudes and strengthen their character. So I urge all sportsmen do so, and not become arrogant snobs, who look down on others. However good you may be, still, be nice, treat others kindly and respect everyone you meet, from deputy prime ministers, to photographers, to volunteers selling bubble tea to you. :)

Ok, on the 23rd of May, Jack and I went for FF Distant Worlds Concert! XD
(oh yea, sry to the many people who criticized me for not getting tickets for/with them! Next time I know who to look for! )

Haha, anyway Jack and I rushed off after tiring ourselves out at RI open house (yep, it’s same day). We got some lunch and took the train to the esplanade concert hall. Haha, had to wait a while outside the hall, so jack and I peoplewatched, and scribbled random stuff on my notebook. We then entered and yeep! were one of the first to queue up for the FF merchandise! Bad news, I forgot to bring extra cash along. Good news, Jack did. Bad news, it wasn’t a lot, so could only get the album! Good news, many more pple out there don’t get the chance to buy these. (OK, this isn’t really good news, but at least it makes me feel better, and I have to end with a good news.) X) Lol, the guy sitting beside me bought all the merchandise. But he didn’t open up the artbook, so I couldn’t take a peek at the lovely artwork.

Haha, saw shaun there. Was quite surprised and also thought it was really cool, cos he brought his family along! His mum, bro, sis and grandma! =D So, I enjoyed the entire length of the performance! Arg, I being quite a music dummy, don’t know how to describe the performance. All I know that it was totally AMAZING! It’s like when they play the pieces, you can sorta feel emotions running through your body. Distant Worlds’ a good name for the concert, with the pieces taking you far away to a fantasy-like world. My fav pieces were: To Zanarkand! Liberi Fatali! Fisherman’s horizon! Memoro de la Stono! And of course, One-winged Angel! Omg, im gonna listen to them again, now.

Lol, Nobuo was funny! He went to join the choir for one-winged angel and was shaking as he sang lol. think he referred to the scores he hid under his slippers too. XD

Ok, now Im glad that I kept this cloud skin. cos FF just rocks. :)
