yesterday, i went for yet another course. SANA (singapore anti-narcotics association, i think) course. so i went to school early in the morning, only to find that were other schools there at our school! (ok, so maybe i wasnt that early...) there was kuo chuan, bishan park, pierce, CHIJ st nicks and cat high. we entered the LT and... i was feeling a little bad because that LT we were using wasnt in a very good condition. =(
we then got divided into groups, mixing us with other schools, ensuring that everyone doesnt get grouped with anyone from your own school. we than watched some videos and listened to talks, with some breaks in the middle. after lunch, which wasnt too bad, we got scolded by our area officers and had to clean up the canteen... ok, i guess we deserved it. we then went for our formal SANA test. then we had a role play which was quite fun. in our groups, we had to come up with a skit like thingy to pass the messages of anti-drug abuse. my groupmates were very nice, so we did a really good job (lol, snow white in crime watch) and we got third. hey, its a good achievement, considering the number of groups. good job, Bravo 1! and then the course ended. but there was an assignment that we hav to do. transfer agent... if i come to u, then u will know what the assignment is about.
I feel that was a good course as we learnt a lot about drugs and also got a chance to interact with other schools, which we hav to work with in the future, for bigger projects.
