Went to attend the interschool X-country finals on wed (curriculum time! xp). haha it was better than I thought. (thought we’d be bored sitting around waiting for the crossers to return). Mathew and I were selected to take care of the sec 1s lol. so we had to bring them around. We reached there early, so we sat down and watched pple warm up, and pple walking around. Haha, quite cool la. Then at about 9.10, we proceeded to our ‘cheering spot’ with Mr cheng. Haha, Mr kwok also tagged along. Anyway, not long after, we saw the first of the runners come in, and we cheered for all the rafflesians! =D (had to take strepsils halfway though xp) Haha, the order is as follows: cdiv guys girls, bdiv guys girls, adiv guys girls. RI did ok la. Not that well, but not that bad either. about 4th placing overall. But the jc section did extremely well! Got 1st for both adiv guys and girls. Also, the two best runners came from ri(jc) too! Lol. argh, cant help feeling good for them. congrats! Everyone ran well, and some ran so hard they fainted, or suffered other problems. Derrick, hope you’re getting better! Haha, saw Minyi there, with the runner’s tag. Didn’t expect her to be there, running, cos I knew she was from a performing arts group. Lol. she got called by the team to fill up an extra place or smthg. Multi-talented.

Then, I went back to school to take my math make up test. So much for skipping classes… and yes, I just took my SS make-up test today. (make up as in replace, not cosmetics!)

Yay, first-week-of-term-tests are over! The second week should be more manageable. I think.

Wee. The March holidays is much needed.

Ok, backtracking to Tuesday, 10th. We had our CEC investiture! A pity Jack couldn’t attend it though… So, we rehearsed thrice before the actual thing. It was a little complicated with the seating arrangements… and it didn’t work out that well. Argh… nvm. But still, the investiture was quite spectacular. Started with the march in, which had some really refreshing music to accompany it. Settling down was a little messy. Then, it was the speeches and opening. The first speech wasn’t that good. The second one was much better. Im not specifying, you guys know the order. Next was the magic crystal ball and the lighting up of the led screen. Haha the screen was super… omg. It was nothing like what you would see in a normal school function. Pinning was next. Mark and I felt dam weird, cos we were ‘special cases’ and didn’t have positions in the class, only in the council. Haha, so while everyone allowed teachers to make their left collars heavier… I was sorta stoning. Xp. Anyway, after all the pinning, all the council pple assembled at the right side of the stage. Wee, council pinning by the year heads! Got a tie pin. XD but of course that means the pin can only be worn on Mondays. Hope we get the council badge soon! All the presentations and the cheers… and then it ended. With the spotlights and fireworks, the spirit and the difference, =D.

Haha on Thursday, I was desperate for a movie to distress myself. I asked some friends too. Wanted to watch suspect X, but there wasn’t screening on that day. So we settled for push. I had no idea what push was before watching, but shaun said it was ok, so… ok. Lol. started watching, and then found out Dakota fanning was in it. The movie wasn’t as bad as what the critics say la. But it wasn’t exactly good too. Quite similar to heroes. Just that quite a lot of pple share the same ability. Also some parts were confusing. I thought the action was one good points.

Got some sickness on Saturday. X(

Anyway, I got to watch suspect X on Mon. lol. In the morning was CEC training. Was one of the trainers, but cos I was sick, it affected my performance quite a lot. =( arg. I couldn’t get worse. Lack of energy. Lost concentration easily. Weird voice. Soft voice. Sore throat. Sleepy eyes. Ok, I should stop. But it went ok la. There was good food too. ‘lectured’ on responsibilities, how to do stuff, tricky situations… so, after that, shaun and I literally ran to j8. For what? To catch suspect X! lol. bought the tickets. And found that we still had bout 15 mins. So we walked around for a while, and bought drinks and went to watch. Haha shaun and I were being lame while waiting for the movie to start. A few minutes into the show, and he went “oooh…. So it’s this one”. Lol. XD Suspect X was quite nice la. Had both funny parts and parts with suspense. Surprisingly, it’s a little touching too. Basically, it’s a faceoff between a Physicist and a Mathematician, of course both of them are brilliant, or else it would be exciting. Don’t wanna say too much here, cos it’s supposed to be a mystery, and if I said everything it wouldn’t be nice to watch anymore. After watching, I ran back to school again, for cca.

Argh. Was hoping I would recover before Wednesday. But things didn’t go so smoothly. Was feeling quite bad on Tuesday, but luckily today, im slightly better. Haha, cos of the not-so-often gathering with the 601 pple! (sry, tnf!) woke up early to get badminkets from wx. Thank you, wx! Got home and had some much needed rest. Argh, the freak sickness saps energy from my body.
Then… went jogging with jack and wan jing. Wanted to jog cos I haven’t been exercising much cos of the condition. Argh, didn’t do so well. Jogged for only… 6/7 rounds? The heat was quite bad though. Haha, good job wan jing, for jogging at 5am and at 11.30am, then 2hrs of badminton! So after a short jog, we went for lunch at hougang mall. lol, a short walk. Ate at café cartel. And chatted till it was time for badminton. But it so happened that shumin, del and wx couldn’t make it… so we settled for 5 pple +1. Haha, Jack, Wan jing, Kenneth, Tabitha and me, Joash came later. But I wasn’t informed, so it was quite a surprise. =D haha, overall, badminton was fun! The only bad (<- LOL) thing was that I overstrained my 4Rm (lol). now I cant write my Chinese essay. Xp. Haven’t played badminton since… sec 2, so I wasn’t that good. And I got even worse during the 2nd hour cos of the injury. Couldn’t exert much strength, and had to use a little of my left arm instead. So others had to take some of my hits. Thank you! =D and sry for the stupid mistakes. XP haha everyone played very well! Could see the difference between the start and end of the 2 hrs. and of course, Tabitha and Joash need no further elaboration, we all know how well they play! Maybe we should organize another badminton session next time! One with EVERYONE attending!
After reaching home, I suddenly felt very drained. Xp. So I decided to rest instead of going for the dinner. Sry pple! Hope all of you had fun!

Anyway, glad to see all the 601 buddies today! you guys brighten up my day! =) and hey, all of you might just help me in my recovery! thank you!

Finally found some mood and time to blog.

Ok, I believe that the sec 4 batch in ri are really stressed out recently. You cant count the number of tests these weeks with your fingers. With assignment deadlines and other responsibilities, your toes wont be of much help as well. Argh. Bet everyone’s desperate for the March hols!

Yay, I managed to squeeze some time yesterday to watch naruto, which has been quite a good stress reliever. And Im proud to say that I’ve finished watching the lastest episode! (though its still lagging behind a whole lot, compared to the manga) Wo, Guren is dam cool, with all the crystal techniques. and she seems like a very nice person, especially by the way she takes care of yuukimaru. but I somehow think she’s going to meet some more-negative end, cos she works for oro. And I liked team kurenai’s appearance too. Haven’t seen them in a while, and they’re sure to have some new skills up their sleeves. (LOL, Shino’s bugs!)

Putting those aside, I’ve been having a good time with my “corner-deskmates”. Lol. Everyone there is constantly exposed to lame jokes, and Im loving all the laughter and interaction of wits. A few days ago, Jonsee finally made his first, highly anticipated, lame joke of standard! XD haha, everyone was looking forward to that, as he is a Pentium 1 in our group. (But I highly suspect it was accidental.)

Jonsee says, “Eh, can we ask Ms Huang to bring the physics test forward to wk 9?! cos we have 5 tests squeezed into wk 10, and its dam pressurizing!” I laugh. GW gives weird look. He thinks quickly. He laughs. Tells PY. He laughs. Shaun was sleeping.

Lol. I said that this is of standard because of the triple meaning in what he said, and also his super gl expression when he said that. Haha, for those quick ones, you should be able to catch the three!

The joking standard in the area has risen quite a lot since last year! :D Ok, heres wishing myself, and all other rafflesians in need, endurance, brains, luck… all the very best for the last two weeks of the term.
